Cape Cod Bike Committees

These local committees are typically volunteers who are appointed by a town’s Select Board with a specific mandate to focus on bicycling (and often walking, too!) within each community.

Most meet on a monthly basis and provide feedback to town staff and elected officials on how to improve bicycling.

Brewster Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee

  • Typically meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month

Bourne Town Administrator's Advisory Committee on Pedestrian Bicycle Pathways

Chatham Bikeways Committee

  • Generally meets 4th Monday of the month

Falmouth Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee

Harwich Bikeways Committee

  • Generally meets 3rd Tuesday of the month

Orleans Transportation and Bikeways Advisory Committee

Provincetown Bicycle Committee

Sandwich Bikeways/Pedestrian Committee 

Truro Bike and Walkways Committee

  • Typically meets the 2nd Monday of the month

Wellfleet Bike and Walkways Committee

  • Inactive - Last met in May 2022
